The only other thing to do I guess would be the registry cleanup method: Perhaps this was a very old version of the software and the tool is not removing all of it because of that. Are you sure you uninstalled all McAfee items from Control Panel and ran the latest version of MCPR from the support website (or the link under Useful Links at the top of this page)? Also note that MCPR only removes regular home versions of the software, none of the Enterprise software.
